Pevonia Botanica was the exclusive skincare sponsor for the MusiCares charity event in Los Angeles, which benefits the organization's mission to provide assistance to musicians in need. Music industry insiders and artists such as Clive Davis, Tony Bennett, Fantasia Barrino, Corinne Bailey Rae, John Legend, and Natalie Cole were just some of the celebrities in attendance. The event included a special tribute to Aretha Franklin, who is the MusiCares 2008 Person of the Year, as well as a fundraising silent auction, which included items such as a saxophone signed by Bill Clinton, a pink Cadillac signed by Franklin, a five-night spa package at the Lodge at Chaa Creek in Belize, and a gift basket full of $500 worth of Pevonia Botanica products. The event raised $4.5 million in support of MusiCares.
