Hyatt Regency Monterey Resort & Spa (CA) announced the appointment of Joe Herman as spa director of its new spa, which is expected to open in April 2009. Most recently, Herman served as spa director at Tamaya Mist Spa & Salon at Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa (Santa Ana Pueblo, NM).

Total Beauty Media welcomes Judy Hsieh as vice president of online business development and Ann Marie MacDougall as director of sales. In their new roles, Hsieh will be responsible for growing www.TotalBeauty.com audience and revenues through strategic partnerships and acquisitions, and MacDougall will be in charge of all online advertising sales for the website.

Robert Vance

Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain (Scottsdale, AZ) appointed Robert Vance as spa director of its Sanctuary Spa. In this new role, Vance will oversee all areas of daily operations pertaining to the spa, salon, tennis, and recreation facilities.

Russ Stuckey

American International Industries (AII) appointed Russ Stuckey as national category manager. In this role, Stuckey will guide the growth of wax brands GiGi and Clean+Easy.

Sonsiarea Boyce

Solis The Palmyra Resort & Spa (Rose Hall, Jamaica) named Sonsiarea Boyce as spa director of its ESPA spa, which is expected to open in March 2009. In this role, Boyce will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the spa's daily operations and management, including development of new services and signature treatments, staff development, and training.

Nilton Santa Cruz

Japonesque announced the addition of Nilton Santa Cruz as international sales manager. In this role, Cruz will develop and expand the company's overseas markets while creating and disseminating a worldwide distribution strategy throughout 2009.

Elizabeth Fantetti

The Professional Beauty Association (PBA) appointed Elizabeth Fantetti as membership director. Fantetti will be responsible for the creation and implementation of PBA's membership program, including new member recruitment, member retention, and previous member relations.

Jennifer Lynn

The Harmon Hotel, Spa & Residences (Las Vegas) announced the appointment of Jennifer Lynn as spa director of its KeSARI Spa. Lynn most recently served as director of spa and salon services at Qua Baths & Spa at Caesar's Palace (Las Vegas).

Jeremy McCarthy

The International SPA Association (ISPA) named Jeremy McCarthy as vice chairman of ISPA's board of directors. McCarthy is the director of spa operations, development, and marketing at Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Previously, McCarthy served as spa director at the Spa at La Costa at La Costa Resort and Spa (Carlsbad, CA).
